Rasgullas and Peanut butter - The Farm, Chennai

My sister picked up a pot of Rasgullas, and a jar of peanut butter with cranberry from this place called "The Farm", in Chennai.

The Rasgullas were soft, spongy, mildly sweet (I am not too fond of over the top sweetness), and fresh just like the homemade ones. They come in a simple earthen pot with a pretty checkered cloth fastened around the mouth of the pot. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the rasgullas and their rustic container (Blame it on my childhood love affair with rasgullas)

Peanut butter with cranberry. What a lovely mix of flavours. The butter was mildly sweet and had a generous mix of cranberries in it.

The bread was soft and I couldn't put a lot of pressure. With a little effort I guess the butter can be spread evenly. The butter was not refrigerated.

I would have loved to write more about these goodies, but the people who run the farm refused to give any details. I was put off with the rigid response I got and had second thoughts about writing this post. But then I realised the primary purpose of this blog is not about promoting somebody's business, but, to share honest reviews with the end consumer.

I didn't think it fair to deprive you guys of a nice pot of rasgullas, yummy peanut butter and all the goodies the Farm has to offer. Hence this review.
