Bees wax balms to help your sniffles.

Ah ! The monsoons are here... time to enjoy the rains and all the beauty that it brings. The rains and the change in season also bring in the sniffles.

I picked up a few balms last December from a rustic looking shop in the Nilgiris. They have quite a few fragrances, and I bought the Camphor and Eucalyptus since I am prone to catching a cold. I have been using them since then and I must admit I have become kinda addicted to them. They are mild, non-sticky and smell natural, and I have to practice great self restraint to not open the lid now and then and take a sniff of the Eucalyptus balm. I prefer to use these to the popular brands sold over the counter in pharmacies.



They come in pretty boxes with gold coloured lids and look pretty fancy for a balm!

The listed Ingredients are beeswax, olive oil, essence.

The price of a 20gm bottle is Rs.130/- and the shelf life is 2 years.


The above opinion is purely a product of my brain, my genetic material, my life experiences and totally based on how I perceive things. I paid full price for these balms and the Company has in no way influenced my opinion.

I have always been curious when it comes to exhibitions. I need to step inside and look at all the wares on display. When I spotted the yellow banner of Sampoorn Santhe, I couldn't contain myself from going in, inspite of feeling a little under the weather. Just a quick look, I promised myself . This is not a review, but a crisp information photo walk.  The Sampoorn Santhe revolves around the "Back to Nature" theme and is at the spacious Kalakshetra Foundation. You will find car parking in their main campus which is right across the road. It is on until this weekend (15th October 2017), open from 10 am to 8 pm. A stay at the Palacete Rodriquez, Anjuna, Goa

So, let's give the gentleman a say.  The Palacete Rodriquez, Anjuna, Goa "Pros - Has two very cute ginger kittens Cons - Horrible rooms, zero maintenance, got bedbug bites all over after sleeping for an hour. The room smelled like they hid a corpse in the closet. My friend and I fell ill after using the swimming pool. I am sure the towels were donated during World war I. The Air conditioner is like a mantelpiece. The water heater isn't supposed to serve hot water. Indus Valley civilization had better plumbing. The lights flicker more than all horror movies combined.
